Create Database Form

All of the information about a meet is stored in a data file. The default data file is naigc.mdb. You may create a new empty data file with the Create Database dialog.

Overview

Click on the File menu, then Create new database menu to open the form. This dialog is similar to all Windows file dialogs. A familiarity with Windows is assumed. The exact appearance of this form varies with each version of windows so a detailed description is beyond the scope of this document.

Use the drop down box at the top of the form to navigate to the desired folder for the new database file. A sub-folder under My Documents is recommended. Enter a new filename in the Filename text box. The default extension is mdb. Do not use a different extension unless you are certain you know what you are doing.

Click on the Open button when ready.
